What is FindIt!?
FindIt! is a cozy hidden-object puzzle game where you explore illustrated scenes and search for objects hidden throughout them.
Do I need an account?
You can browse and play available puzzles while signed out. Signing in with Google lets FindIt! save your completed puzzles, stars, and leaderboard results to your account.
Why sign in with Google?
Google sign-in is provided through Supabase Auth. It gives FindIt! a secure way to identify your account and connect your saved puzzle progress to the right player.
Does FindIt! store my email?
Yes. When you sign in with Google, FindIt! stores the email address associated with your authenticated account so we can maintain your account and associate your game data with you. Your email address is not displayed on the public leaderboard.
Can I play on mobile?
Yes. FindIt! supports both mouse/pointer and touch input, and the target navigation adapts to smaller screens.
How does the timer work?
The timer starts when a puzzle begins and stops when you find the final target. Your completion time is used as part of your puzzle result.
How do I earn stars?
Completed puzzles can earn between one and three stars. Your star rating depends on the puzzle difficulty and how quickly you finish.
Can I replay a puzzle?
You can replay completed puzzles for fun and practice. Your first completed result remains the saved result for profile and leaderboard progress.
What happens when I find an object?
When you find a target, FindIt! gives you immediate visual and sound feedback. The target is marked as found and moves to the end of the target navigation so the remaining objects are easier to see.
How does the leaderboard work?
The leaderboard is based on your saved puzzle results. Your first completed result for each published puzzle contributes to your overall progress, with total stars used as the primary ranking measure.
Will I lose my progress if I sign out?
Your saved progress is associated with your FindIt! account. If you sign out and later sign back in with the same Google account, your saved progress can be loaded again.
What information is public?
Yes. Your email address is not shown publicly. Your selected display name and username may appear in places such as your profile and the leaderboard.
How do I report a problem?
If you find an incorrect target, a target that does not register, a visual problem, missing sound, slow loading, or another bug, please report it so we can investigate.
