1. About This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the MyTime Games website, games, accounts, profiles, and related services.
In this policy, “MyTime Games,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the service operated under the MyTime Games name. “You” refers to anyone who accesses or uses MyTime Games.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use MyTime Games, we may collect the following information:
- Account information: information associated with your MyTime Games account, such as your display name, username, email address, profile image, and account identifier.
- Google Sign-In information: information provided through Google when you choose to sign in with Google, as described below.
- Game activity: puzzles played, puzzles completed, stars or rewards earned, saved progress, and related gameplay information.
- Technical information: information necessary for security, authentication, sessions, troubleshooting, and operation of the service.
- Support information: information you choose to provide when contacting us or reporting a problem.
3. Google Sign-In and Google User Data
MyTime Games uses Google Sign-In to allow you to create and authenticate a MyTime Games account.
When you choose “Continue with Google,” our authentication system requests only the Google account information needed to identify and authenticate you.
For our current Google Sign-In implementation, this may include:
- your Google Account identifier;
- your email address;
- your name; and
- your Google profile image, when available.
We use this information to:
- create and authenticate your MyTime Games account;
- identify your account when you return;
- associate your saved puzzle progress and rewards with the correct account;
- display your selected profile information within MyTime Games; and
- provide account-related support and security.
MyTime Games does not use Google Sign-In to access the contents of your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Google Photos, or other Google services.
We do not use Google user data for advertising, credit decisions, surveillance, or sale to data brokers.
MyTime Games' use and transfer of information received from Google through Google Sign-In will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
If we ever need to request additional Google permissions for a new feature, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any additional notice or consent required before using that data for the new purpose.
4. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- create and maintain MyTime Games accounts;
- authenticate users securely;
- save puzzle progress and completed puzzles;
- maintain stars, rewards, and profile progress;
- provide features associated with your profile;
- respond to questions, reports, and support requests;
- detect fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, or security incidents;
- troubleshoot technical problems; and
- operate, maintain, and improve MyTime Games.
We do not sell personal information.
We do not use Google account information for unrelated targeted advertising.
5. How Google User Data Is Stored
MyTime Games currently uses Supabase for authentication, session management, database storage, and application data.
Information associated with your account, including information received through Google Sign-In where necessary for authentication, may therefore be processed and stored using Supabase infrastructure.
Your game progress and account information are stored so that your progress can remain associated with your account across sessions and devices. Your email address is used for account and authentication purposes and is not displayed publicly. Game records include completion dates and difficulty where available. We do not measure new gameplay completion durations; older records may retain historical timing information.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account functionality, protect MyTime Games from abuse, comply with applicable legal requirements, or resolve disputes.
6. Service Providers and Sharing
We use third-party service providers to operate MyTime Games. These currently include:
- Google, for Google Sign-In and authentication;
- Supabase, for authentication, sessions, database storage, and application infrastructure;
- Netlify, for website hosting and deployment where applicable; and
- PostHog, for optional product analytics and debugging where analytics has been enabled and you have provided any required consent.
These providers process information to deliver their services under their applicable agreements and privacy policies. Google also processes your use of your Google Account under its own privacy policy.
We do not sell Google user data.
We do not transfer Google user data to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect the security of MyTime Games, investigate abuse, comply with applicable law or valid legal process, or protect the rights and safety of our users and service.
7. Analytics
When optional analytics are configured and you choose to allow analytics, we may use PostHog to understand gameplay behavior, loading problems, and product issues.
We do not intentionally send your Google email address, Google access tokens, authentication session cookies, or Google account password to PostHog. We do not receive your Google password. Our analytics event payloads also exclude names, profile images, and URL query strings. Events include page visits, sign-in outcomes, game starts and completions, difficulty, piece counts, object discoveries, loading errors, and app installation actions. Browser events include page paths, device type, and an anonymous browser identifier. Analytics providers also receive technical connection information, such as an IP address, when your browser sends a request.
When signed-in analytics are enabled, analytics events may be associated with an internal MyTime Games user identifier so that we can understand product usage across visits.
8. Cookies and Browser Storage
MyTime Games may use cookies, local storage, or similar browser technologies where necessary for authentication, account sessions, security, preferences, and core functionality.
Optional analytics technologies are used only after you choose to allow analytics. You can change this choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics collection; it does not automatically erase events already collected. The installed app also caches public artwork and application assets for loading and an offline reconnect screen; it does not cache authenticated pages.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, disclosure, or destruction.
Information transmitted between your browser and our services is protected using encrypted HTTPS connections.
We also rely on security controls provided by our authentication, database, and hosting providers and restrict access to production systems and account information to people who need that access to operate or secure MyTime Games.
No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
10. Data Retention
We retain account information and game progress for as long as reasonably necessary to provide your MyTime Games account and its features.
Information may be retained for a limited additional period where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or enforcement of our Terms of Service.
When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it where reasonably practical.
11. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including the ability to request:
- access to personal information we hold about you;
- correction of inaccurate information;
- deletion of your account and associated personal information; or
- withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent.

12. Account Deletion and Google Authorization
You can delete your account using the Delete account control on your profile, or request deletion of your MyTime Games account and associated personal information by contacting us at nixie.dev.team@gmail.com.
We may take reasonable steps to confirm that the request relates to your account.
You may also revoke MyTime Games' Google authorization through the third-party connections or security settings of your Google Account.
Revoking Google authorization removes the Google connection but may not immediately end an existing MyTime Games session. Sign out of MyTime Games to end your current session. Revoking Google authorization by itself may not delete information already stored in your MyTime Games account. To request deletion of stored account information, please contact us using the address above.
Deleting your account does not automatically erase previously collected PostHog analytics events or every provider log or backup. Contact us to request deletion of related analytics or other personal information. Some information may be retained for a limited period where required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or dispute resolution.
13. Children's Privacy
MyTime Games is a general-audience service and is not directed primarily to children.
We do not intentionally use Google Sign-In to collect Google account information from children in circumstances where doing so would violate applicable law or Google's requirements.
If you are a parent or lawful guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information to MyTime Games improperly, please contact us at nixie.dev.team@gmail.com so that we can review and address the situation.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our service, data practices, providers, or legal obligations change.
If we materially change how we use Google user data or other personal information, we will provide appropriate notice and obtain additional consent where required before applying the new use.
The Last Edited date at the top of this page identifies the most recent version.
