1. Accepting These Terms

By accessing or using FindIt!, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use FindIt!.

These terms apply to the FindIt! website, games, accounts, profiles, leaderboards, puzzle content, and related services.

2. About FindIt!

FindIt! is a hidden-object puzzle game where players explore scenes, find hidden objects, and compete for better completion times and scores.

We may add, remove, or change features as the product develops.

3. Accounts

Some FindIt! features require an account. Currently, accounts are created using Google sign-in through Supabase Auth.

When you create an account, FindIt! receives account information from the authentication provider, including the email address associated with your Google account and, where available, your name and profile image.

You are responsible for maintaining access to the account you use to sign in to FindIt!. You should not knowingly allow another person to use your account.

4. Your Profile

FindIt! may maintain a player profile containing information such as your display name, username, email address, and profile image.

Your email address is used for account management and is not displayed as part of the public leaderboard.

5. Gameplay and Results

FindIt! records game results associated with your authenticated account. This may include puzzles completed, completion times, stars earned, and related progress.

Scores and rankings are calculated using the game's current scoring rules. We may adjust scoring rules, rankings, or other gameplay mechanics as FindIt! evolves.

Game results may be corrected, removed, or invalidated if we believe they resulted from cheating, exploitation of a bug, automated activity, or other manipulation of the game.

6. Leaderboards

FindIt! may provide public leaderboards showing information such as display names, usernames, stars, scores, completion times, and other gameplay-related information.

Your private account email address is not displayed on the public leaderboard.

7. Fair Play

FindIt! is intended to be played fairly. You agree not to:

• use bots, scripts, or automated tools to play puzzles;
• manipulate scores, completion times, or leaderboard results;
• attempt to bypass game restrictions or security controls;
• interfere with the operation of FindIt!;
• access data or accounts that do not belong to you;
• reverse engineer or exploit the service for abusive purposes; or
• use FindIt! for unlawful purposes.

8. Puzzle and FindIt! Content

FindIt! and its content, including the FindIt! name, logo, visual designs, puzzle scenes, artwork, text, interface, and other original materials, are owned by or licensed to FindIt! unless otherwise indicated.

You may use the service for personal, non-commercial gameplay. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, reproduce, or commercially exploit FindIt! content without permission.

9. User-Provided Information

If you provide information to FindIt!, such as a username or a support message, you must have the right to provide that information and it must not intentionally contain unlawful, abusive, or misleading content.

Please do not submit passwords, payment card information, or other highly sensitive information through FindIt! support channels unless specifically requested through an appropriate secure process.

10. Availability

We aim to keep FindIt! available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

FindIt! may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, third-party service outages, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

11. Third-Party Services

FindIt! relies on third-party services to provide parts of the product, including Google for authentication, Supabase for authentication and application data, and hosting/infrastructure providers.

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.

12. Changes to FindIt!

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of FindIt! at any time. This may include individual puzzles, categories, scoring systems, leaderboard features, or other functionality.

13. Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to an account if we reasonably believe that the account is being used to violate these terms, abuse the service, compromise security, manipulate game results, or engage in unlawful activity.

You may stop using FindIt! at any time. If you want to request deletion of your account and associated personal information, contact us using the address below.

14. Disclaimer

FindIt! is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, FindIt! and its operators will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service as FindIt! develops or as applicable legal requirements change.

When we make material changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date below. Your continued use of FindIt! after an update means you accept the updated terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
